Cole Named St. Louis Branch Production Leader for CNA

CNA has appointed Maria Cole assistant vice president, branch production leader for the St. Louis branch.

Cole will lead CNA’s St. Louis team in cultivating deeper relationships with producers, accelerating CNA’s market presence, and shaping a portfolio of mutual profitable business. She reports to Steve Wachtel, senior vice president and northern zone officer, CNA.

Cole has been with CNA for 18 years, joining CNA in 1998 as underwriting director for the company’s Michigan branch. Most recently, she served as assistant vice president of Commercial Underwriting for CNA’s Kansas City and St. Louis branches.

Cole succeeds Matt Hartigan, branch vice president, who previously had responsibility for both the St. Louis and Kansas City branches. He will now focus entirely on leading CNA’s Kansas City branch.
