Everest Re Group Ltd. has added Eric Koppang to the Everest Insurance Specialty Casualty team within the E&S Casualty unit. Based in Chicago, Koppang joins Everest as vice president and head of E&S Casualty.
Koppang will be responsible for developing new products, product enhancements, and helping lead the continued expansion of the E&S primary casualty unit in the wholesale space.
He has 30 years of insurance industry experience, including 23 years in the E&S Casualty space. Koppang was most recently at Chubb, where he led the Westchester E&S Casualty group as senior vice president. He established Westchester’s Chicago office where he managed the E&S Primary and Excess Casualty groups for the Midwest, and was named the Construction Practice leader.
