Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires The Jack Nebel Companies in Illinois

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired North Barrington, Ill.-based The Jack Nebel Companies Inc.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jack Nebel, Brian Nebel and their associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Joel Cavaness, president of Risk Placement Services Inc., Gallagher’s wholesale broker and MGA.

The Jack Nebel Companies, a wholesale commercial insurance broker and managing general agency, serves independent retail agents and brokers across the Midwestern U.S.

Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm.
