Missouri Director of Insurance Chlora Lindley-Myers has been elected treasurer of the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission (IIPRC).
The Insurance Compact also selected Ohio Insurance Director Jillian Froment as chair and Rhode Island Insurance Superintendent Beth Dwyer as vice chair.
The Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission serves insurance regulators, consumers and providers by improving efficiency and effectiveness in the insurance marketplace.
In 2019, the Insurance Compact will undertake the development of new Uniform Standards for group annuity products, and updating its procedures to possibly expand use of Compact-approved products for non-employer groups.
