Everest Insurance has added Joanne Suarez and Mary Rimbey to its excess and surplus (E&S) casualty group based in the company’s Chicago office.
Suarez joined the E&S Excess Casualty group as a director responsible for underwriting excess casualty business over a broad range of industries. Previously, Suarez worked as an assistant vice president at BXM Insurance Services Inc., focused on underwriting excess casualty. She has also worked at HCC Insurance Holdings Inc. and C.V. Starr & Company of California Inc.
Rimbey has joined the E&S Primary Casualty group as a manager responsible for underwriting primary lines E&S business. Previously, Rimbey was a senior underwriter in the wholesale division at Zurich North America. Prior to Zurich, she worked at Navigators as an excess underwriter for wholesale casualty.
