Iowa insurance producer examinations will be available in an online format through OnVUE online proctoring by PearsonVUE beginning Nov. 12, 2020, the state insurance division announced.
“This new process will help insurance producers be able to sit for their examinations at their office or at home while still safeguarding the integrity of the examination,” Iowa Insurance Commissioner Doug Ommen said in a media release.
OnVUE provides a seamless testing experience with a simple download of the application and self check-in process.
Candidates provide their own computer and a private room to take the exam, during which they’re monitored by a live proctor through the webcam and microphone to safeguard the integrity of the exam.
