It took three hours for firefighters to control a blaze that destroyed a Fargo, N.D., building filled with antiques.
The three-alarm fire on Dec. 5 at Reinhart Auction required assistance from firefighters in nearby West Fargo and Moorhead, Minnesota.
Fargo Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says the large number of antiques in the building made the blaze difficult to fight. Witnesses say flames were visible on the roof of the building and the fire generated heavy smoke, KVRR reports.
The owner, Gary Reinhart, is an auctioneer. There’s no immediate word on the value of the damage.
