Ramsey-Weeks Insurance in Grinnell, Iowa, has merged with First MainStreet Insurance L.C. (FMSI), an affiliate of TrueNorth Companies L.C.
Ramsey-Weeks is a fourth-generation, family-owned insurance agency that has been in the Grinnell landscape for over 95 years. Led by Jim Ramsey and Darcy Swick, the agency brings a talented staff and great book of business to the FMSI platform. Paul Pohlson remains active in the business and has provided an immense amount of goodwill in the community. A former Big I President, Pohlson will continue to focus on his clients that he has grown so passionate about over the years.
Led by many TrueNorth senior leaders, the FMSI model focuses on smaller agencies to perpetuate their business while maintaining a local presence and legacy within their communities.
