Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has promoted two members on its U.S. executive and professional lines team in Chicago, Illinois.
Shelley Norman has been named senior vice president, management liability, U.S. Norman, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, joined BHSI in 2021 as senior vice president, management liability, central region.
Jason Preston as senior vice president, management liability, central region. Preston has more than 22 years of industry experience in both the underwriting and brokerage sides of the business. He joined BHSI in 2021 as vice president, management liability.
Moore named senior vice president, external affairs, chief diversity officer and president of the Encova Foundation of Ohio
Marchelle Moore has been named senior vice president, external affairs, chief diversity officer and president of the Encova Foundation of Ohio, effective today. Moore previously served as the senior vice president, chief legal officer and corporate secretary of Encova Insurance.
Prior to joining Encova in 2015, Moore served as Central Ohio Transit Authority’s (COTA) vice president of legal and government affairs and general counsel. She is on the governing committee of The Columbus Foundation and a member of the Independent Review Panel of JobsOhio.
Encova, located in Colombus, Ohio, has committed itself to highlighting and emphasizing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
