First MainStreet Insurance L.C.announced the addition of seven new Iowa agencies to its platform to close out 2023.
In late November 2023, Pfantz Insurance Services and the insurance operations of Eckhardt Enterprises, both located in State Center, joined the FMSI platform. Both agencies will operate under one roof, under the leadership of local owner, Brad Pfantz.
Effective in December 2023, Fish-Johnson Insurance, located in Waterloo, joined First MainStreet. This is FMSI’s second agency location in the Cedar Valley area.
At year-end, joining via merger, was Campbell-Melema Insurance located in Parkersburg and led by local owner Chad Campbell. Followed by Van Buer Insurance in Clinton. This is FMSI’s second location in Clinton, the first being Core-Vens Insurance who joined the platform in 2020. The two partner agencies will operate under one roof for team collaboration.
The sixth deal for First MainStreet was the addition of Van Mersbergen Insurance located in Bloomfield. This is FMSI’s second location in the Bloomfield area. Second-generation owner, Harrison Van Mersbergen, will help lead the team as a local partner.
The FMSI team also announced a private acquisition of a strong book of business located in northern Iowa. This book brings two talented employees and will fold-in to FMSI’s existing Edwards-Brandt & Associates office in Mason City, IA.
