McCarthy Joins Alliant Insurance Services in Chicago

Connor McCarthy has joined Alliant Insurance Services, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., as vice president within the Alliant Americas division. The Chicago-based producer will service a national client base with an eye toward continued growth across Alliant’s property, casualty and management liability coverage lines.

Before joining Alliant, McCarthy worked in risk advisory services, US real estate practice group at Gallagher and risk advisory services, real estate and hospitality practice group at Risk Consulting Partners, LLC.

Rockford Mutual Promotes Team Members

Rockford Mutual Insurance Company, headquartered in Rockford, Ill., promoted several team members in January.

• Jerald Carpenter was promoted to casualty specialist
• Paige Summins was promoted to claims manager
• Michelle Christiansen was promoted to manager of marketing
• Dennis Gulling was promoted to senior claims adjuster
• Troy Bardell joined RMIC as a claims representative
• Lisa Olsen, product analyst, celebrates five years with RMIC in February
