The Nebraska Department of Insurance shared that Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie will take place in Omaha on Oct. 28-29, with topics including AI, autonomous vehicles, cybersecurity, venture capital, the role of AI in operations.
This is the second year of the conference. Last year’s event featured attendees from 44 states as well as several international participants.
This year’s conference will be held Oct. 29 at the Holland Performing Arts Center, with a networking event scheduled the evening prior at the Orpheum Theater. The lineup is expected to feature speakers from Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Deloitte, Waymo, Swiss Re, State Farm, Mutual of Omaha, Physicians Mutual, Allstate, Assurity, AFLAC, Prudential Financial, Brewer Lane Ventures, IA Capital, Insurtech NY, Varonis, RGA.
Several state insurance commissioners are also expected to attend.
Congressman Mike Flood will also provide an update on AI regulation and congressional development.
“The Insurtech on the Silicon Prairie team has developed the best speaker and program lineup yet, to show case advancements in the insurtech industry and how they help policyholders get better value for their insurance premium dollars,” Nebraska Department of Insurance Director Eric Dunning said.
