First MainStreet Insurance (FMSI), a division of TrueNorth Companies, announced the continued expansion of its platform with two new strategic partnerships and a notable merger, marking a dynamic start to 2025.
Effective May 1, 2025, FMSI has partnered with Rentz Agency and Midwest Health Benefits, based in Morris, Minnesota. The agency, led by Doug Wartner, has long served the Morris community with property & casualty and health insurance solutions. Doug’s son, Jesse Wartner, has joined as a partner and will help lead FMSI’s expansion in the region.
On the same date, FMSI finalized a merger with Ruffcorn Insurance, including Capps Insurance (West Burlington) and Muntz Insurance (Farmington), significantly strengthening FMSI’s presence in southeastern Iowa. Led by Ryan Ruffcorn, a respected industry veteran since 2003, the group brings a strong client base and regional expertise.
