IMA Financial Group, Inc., a North American insurance brokerage firm specializing in risk management, wholesale brokerage and wealth management, has named Dan Mize as its new Wichita market president, effective Aug. 15.
Jeff Jamison, who previously held the role, has transitioned to executive vice president, Cornerstone and alternative risk, where he will also lead the launch of IMA’s newest industry vertical: agribusiness.
According to a press release, Mize has been a top performer at IMA, recognized for his leadership in building the firm’s energy practice in both Wichita and Houston. He is valued for his strong communication skills, trusted client relationships and collaborative approach to leadership.
Jamison will oversee IMA’s Cornerstone Risk Solutions subsidiary—designing, building and managing group insurance plans—while also developing a cohesive alternative risk strategy and formalizing the agribusiness specialty. He will partner across the organization to bring a clear value proposition, focused production and technical expertise to the agribusiness practice.
IMA already has “significant revenue” in agribusiness, along with a “robust pipeline,” the press release said.
IMA Financial Group is an independent broker that offers comprehensive and consultative risk and wealth management services. A majority employee-owned and managed company, its 2,700-plus associates work in offices across the country.
