Austin-based insuranceOrder.com has launched what they believe is the Internet’s only end-to-end insurance information and purchasing destination.
As an eAgency, insuranceOrder.com is unique in that it can co-exist with the current insurance distribution channel by operating as an independent agent. Insurance customers have a centralized online resource where they can compare product offerings from insurance carriers, receive a binding quote and purchase insurance completely electronically in a matter of minutes.
By guiding consumers through the quoting process, insuranceOrder.com will help them pick their coverage and carrier, all the way to the actual online insurance purchase.
Part of insuranceOrder.com’s strategy is to use instant credit checks through eCredit.com.
“For insuranceOrder.com to become an industry leader, it is critical that we don’t disconeect our customers during the quoting process,” said Andy Weitz, president and co-founder of insuranceOrder.com. “Executing our own credit checks is just one example of insuranceOrder.com’s full service mentality.”
Initially, insuranceOrder.com will offer binding quotes from Reliance Personal Insurance and Atlanta Casualty Insurance. The company will offer health, life, home and renter coverage across multiple product lines from multiple carriers later this year.
