e-Nable Corporation has released version 1.8 of its Insurance e-Nable(TM) suite of Internet-based insurance data and service offerings. Among its features, Insurance e-Nable 1.8 allows users access to exclusive real-time MIB Data, e-Nable Prescription Profile pharmaceutical data, motor vehicle records, paramed orders, APS, and inspection reports.
“Insurance e-Nable 1.8 helps ease the underwriting burden by helping transform raw data into knowledge,” Scott Neumann, e-Nable’s chief technology officer, commented. “Version 1.8 enhances our ability to apply custom filters and rules to interpret and evaluate electronic data.”
Version 1.8 also introduces e-Nable’s “MIB Simplified Interface” which provides, on an ASP basis, the ability to take a simple HTTP post of the required data elements to search the MIB database and return either XML or custom formatted data. “This will provide our customers with an easy way to order MIB Checks while they engineer their systems to take advantage of the ACORD standards,” Neumann said. Insurance e-Nable 1.8 can be accessed over a secure Internet VPN or Frame Relay connection using the ACORD XML for Life Insurance data and transactional standards.
