Navigators Rebrands Retail Logistics Unit; Names Kritz President

September 10, 2010

Navigators Management Co. Inc. has rebranded its retail brokerage division presently known as Navigators Logistics Insurance Services. The division will now be called iTrade Risk & Insurance Services.

The company said retail unit will have outlets in five cities and provide a select mix of insurance and bond products targeted at companies involved in freight forwarding, consolidation, third-party logistics and customs brokerage.

In addition to distributing Navigators’ proprietary logistic products, iTrade will operate as a niche insurance agency allowing customers to select from multiple insurance companies with products such as cargo insurance, bill of lading and warehouse legal liability, errors and omissions, customs surety, FMC/OTI bonds, and business insurances.

The agency will offer services including “iTrade Concierge,” which gives small and mid-size logistics providers guidance on a variety of non-insurance matters pertinent to the logistics trade.

Twenty-five year industry veteran, Greg Kritz, has been appointed to lead this initiative as division president alongside Greg Horun, senior vice president for National Sales, Ed Mascher, vice president for Surety Practice and West Coast Operations; Howard Jurofsky, vice presdient for Northeast Sales; and Jim Farrell, assistant vice president, Central Region.
