Beazley Expands Healthcare Liability Team with Springman

Beazley Group reported the addition of Daniel Springman to its miscellaneous medical healthcare team, expanding the insurance company’s capabilities in the area of medical professional liability insurance in the United States.

Previously, Springman worked for four years with Markel Corp. as an underwriting manager specializing in products and professional liability.

Springman will work alongside Evan Smith, who heads Beazley’s miscellaneous medical underwriting team in Chicago. He will underwrite miscellaneous medical risks, long term care, as well as the medical products liability business that fits within Beazley’s underwriting appetite.
