Find Out Who’s Worth What in the Independent Agency System

By | January 27, 2012

Time is running out to find out who’s worth what in the independent agency system!

Insurance Journal is once again polling insurance agents and brokers nationwide in its annual Agency Salary Survey. Survey results will be compiled for a special report in the Feb. 20, 2012, issue of Insurance Journal magazine.

All independent insurance agents and brokers are invited to participate. Individual survey responses and information will be kept strictly confidential, while the results will be published by Insurance Journal.

The survey provides important information on insurance agency compensation trends, and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

During the past four years, average agency salaries across the board remained mostly flat, according to previous IJ surveys.

Producer commissions haven’t fared well either.

According to IJ’s Salary Survey last year, the majority of agencies reported producer commissions in 2010 decreased (29 percent) or stayed the same in 2010 as in 2009 (44 percent).

The good news: even in today’s challenging times a good 28 percent of agencies reported producer commissions increased.

So, how did agency salaries and producer commissions fare in 2011? Did hiring and compensation trends change? Find out by participating in IJ’s 2012 Agency Salary Survey today.

Survey participants who include their email information at the end of the survey will receive the 2012 Agency Salary Survey results directly by email on Feb. 20.

Don’t miss out on this exclusive opportunity to learn more about salary trends in independent agencies and brokerages across the United States today.
