Confie Seguros, a personal lines insurance brokerage network focused on Hispanic consumers, said it has completed the acquisition of six insurance agencies, further expanding its national insurance distribution.
The companies acquired are: Survival Insurance, in Burbank, Calif; Speedlane Insurance, in Upland, Calif.; The Chapman Agency, in Elizabeth, N.J.; Coppola Insurance, in West Seneca, N.Y.; Palmetto Insurance, in Miami, Fla.; and, Daley Insurance, in Margate, Fla.
Confie Seguros, based in New York, has built a national portfolio of regional auto insurance brokerages. It has 300 locations across the country. The company was rated among the top 10 in revenues in Insurance Journal’s list of the Top 100 insurance agencies. Confie has acquired 20 agencies over the past 12 months.
Mordy Rothberg, president, said Confie has completed 10 transactions in 2012. “All of these acquisitions bolster our presence in important regions around the country,” he said.
Joe Waked, CEO, said the company continues to strengthen its footprint and is also “focused on growing our existing business lines as we approach $200 million in annual revenues.”
Confie has retail locations in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Washington, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, and Nevada and plans to continue its expansion in those and other states, including Illinois, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
