Underwriting manager Victor O. Schinnerer & Co. has introduced a new stand-alone workers’ compensation program. Schinnerer will serve as a program access point for retail agents and brokers.
The stand-alone coverage, offered through an A-rated insurance carrier, is available for small to mid-sized risks with moderate severity classification. Classes include: construction, transportation, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, restaurants, food manufacturing and others. Schinnerer can provide indications based on a few qualifying questions and will perform all of the application data entry for brokers. Workers’ compensation is available in most states, with certain restrictions.
Minimum premium for the workers’ compensation program is $5,000, with a maximum premium of $150,000.
Schinnerer continues to write architects, engineers, surveyors and construction consultants in its existing workers’ compensation program for design professionals.
Schinnerer distributes its insurance programs through independent agents and brokers. Broker appointments are not required unless mandatory by state law.
