The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is currently accepting applications for the 2014 Consumer Liaison Program.
The Consumer Liaison Program gives individuals who are qualified consumer representatives of consumer organizations a way to participate in NAIC meetings.
The NAIC defines a consumer organization as a national, state, or local organization that serves to protect the interests of consumers as they relate to the regulation of insurance.
Some of the positions include funding for expenses.
The application deadline is Oct. 31, 2013. Applicants will be notified in mid-December of 2013 regarding their selection as funded or unfunded consumer representatives for the 2014 calendar year.
