Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance — the recently launched commercial P/C insurance unit of Berkshire Hathaway — continues to boost its team roster. This week it announced the appointment of Todd Greeley as vice president of claims, executive and professional lines.
Greeley was previously vice president for CNA Pro Claim, at CNA Financial Corp.
He will be based in the New York office of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.
Before joining CNA Financial Corp in 2002, Greeley was an attorney in private practice in New York, where he focused on commercial litigation and represented executive and professional liability insurers. He began his career as an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance underwrites on the paper of Berkshire Hathaway’s National Indemnity group of companies. Based in Boston, it has regional underwriting offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.
