Liberty International Underwriters has added five risk engineers to its U.S. and Latin America risk engineering team to focus on energy-related opportunities and civil construction projects in response to the resurgence in America’s energy industry and continued energy growth anticipated in Latin America.
The additional risk engineering team members are:
- Miami-based Leonardo Garzon and Jose Segnini for Latin America
- New York-based Rickey Johnson for the U.S.
- Houston-based Paul Hampshire, both for the U.S. and Latin America Civil Construction
- Houston-based Scott Kelley for the U.S.
According to Timothy Kania, senior vice president of LIU Energy and Construction, LIU wanted to make changes to provide brokers with one team that handles all first party property risks.
The energy-construction risk engineer team joins LIU’s existing energy and construction operations in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami and New York, which offer cross-class response through products, policy cover, and services.
LIU, part of the Global Specialty lines division of Liberty Mutual Insurance, distributes exclusively through the independent broker network in its thirty worldwide offices.
