Hard to take things like this seriously. There is no way that this guy thought the beer was literally still made by monks in an abbey. Sadly this type of nonsense is what fills the courts these days. Kind of like Lowes getting sued for selling “2×4’s” because they don’t actually measure 2 inches by 4 inches.
The class action suit covers the past 4 years. I cannot remember how many cases of Leffe I have purchased in the past 4 years….Does that make me an alcoholic???
Thanks for revealing yourself troll. 65 down votes makes you the culprit. Nothing wrong with my post at all and you made it an excuse for exhibiting your hatred. Such a sad life you lead.

If Agent stops spreading lies, what will he be left with to post on this site?

Jack, does anyone believe that Busch “Bavarian” Beer was made in Bavaria for the past 40 years? What a joke! By the way, the stores are just full of these craft beers, ales etc and they even advertise “Hard soda” which has alcoholic content in them.
This is definitely a good beer, I’ve had plenty of the blonde version. I never assumed it was brewed in an Abbey, but in Belgium, yes of course. I had no knowledge AB owned them or that they were tied to Stella. Guess I’m out of the suit, needed to be more gullible than the average bear.
Perhaps we’re more gullible here in the UK and hence our trading laws more strict, but if something here is labelled suggesting it’s brewed in a Begian Monastery then it bloody well better be…I’m an occasional Chimay drinker, and that is definitely still monastery brewed…
I have had quite a few brews over the past 50 years, and haven’t ever bought one based on what the story line for the product says. I drink ’em ’cause I like that particular taste – – -.
If you buy/drink your beer based on the B.S. on the bottle, you have a real problem.
I would not file a suit but that is because I already knew, as many others on here knew, that none of these beers is what is used to be. I didn’t have to read the label, though I did, to determine that it was NOT brewed as it used to be. We stopped drinking Becks because they lost the taste, flavor, the very essence of good German beer. We have followed the consolidation of the market and each of the great beers that were sold in my fathers/grandfathers day have all turned into the same watered down product. No wonder the soda type beverages are selling, younger adults did not cultivate a palate for hops or malts. Anheuser’s attempt to increase sales by market share forced folks to brew their own beers and now we have a thriving craft brew industry. I doubt if this suit will go anywhere: we all know the issue is caveat emptor. This guy is crying sour hops in his beer.
This optometrist should have his eyes examined. Nowhere does it say on the label that monks are running the brewing operation. InBev is. And Sam Adams isn’t brewing the beer either. Nor are Quaker Oats made by Quakers. This is stupid.
We found this here mouse in our beer, eh…
…and we brought it to our friend, and he’s like, a cop, eh…

Yeah. Just like those packing peanuts…
Stupidity shouldn’t be rewarded. Who are these people that even allow such a case to be filed?

Finally, I have been saving all my Leffe beer purchase receipts just for a moment like this!

of course not. ON THE FRONT of the can or the 12-pack or anywhere else you look, busch beer clearly says that it is a “product of the USA.”

People are so f__king stupid, you probably could serve them a glass full of piss and tell them it was brewed in Germany by Hitler.
