On-demand insurance platform Slice Labs Inc. has hired Philippe Lafreniere as chief growth officer to work with carriers on the development of digital insurance products serving business and consumers.
Lafreniere brings 25 years of global insurance technology experience to the role. Before joining Slice, he served as senior vice president of Product Marketing at EIS Group, where he was responsible for helping insurers transform into digital enterprises. Prior to that, Lafreniere served as vice president of Product Innovation at software firm iter8, as well as director of Product Marketing and Management at Camilion Solutions before its acquisition by SAP in 2013.
“This is the most exciting time to be an insurer in my entire career of working with carriers around the world,” said Lafreniere.
Toronto-based Slice Labs launched the first on-demand insurance product in the U.S. Slice Insurance Cloud Services (ICS) enables large insurers to deliver customized on-demand insurance products.
