Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty has appointed Parag Bavishi as deputy regional head of the Americas with its Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) division.
In this role, Bavishi will lead ART’s structured corporate and integrated business.
As vice president of Underwriting since 2013, Bavishi has been instrumental in scaling ART’s overall alternative portfolio in the region.
Before joining Allianz in 2013, Bavishi held senior actuarial positions at Zurich Financial Services in London and New York as well as with Northbridge Insurance in Vancouver.
Based in New York, he succeeds Anibal Moreno, who is no longer with the company. He will report to Karsten Berlage, ART’s regional head of the Americas.
