Hudson Insurance Group has released commercial trucking coverage for independent contractors that is now offered through retail producers in select states. Coverage includes occupational accident, contingent liability, truck physical damage and workers’ compensation, as well as non-trucking liability.
Hudson has covered the commercial trucking industry 25 years, distributing products through both retail and wholesale producers, as well as program administrators. Hudson’s new product features a monthly reporting portal for insureds and their brokers to transact business.
According to Christopher Gallagher, president & CEO of Hudson, the commercial auto segment is a key growth area for the carrier.
This new offering is complementary to Hudson’s excess of SIR product for motor carriers, which is also marketed exclusively through retail brokers.
Hudson Insurance Group is a specialty insurer offering a range of property and casualty insurance products to corporations, professional firms and individuals through retailers, wholesalers and program administrators.
The company is headquartered in New York City with offices throughout the U.S. and in Vancouver, Canada and underwrites specialty primary and excess insurance on both an admitted and non-admitted basis. Hudson Insurance Group is the U.S. Insurance Division of Odyssey Group Holdings, Inc., a global provider of reinsurance and specialty insurance.
