Seems like a lawsuit of opportunity, not merit. It is not cheap or easy to get a McDonald’s franchise, and the expectation is any potential franchisee is making diligent decisions throughout the process — and certainly in managing the business.

If this case warrants it, do not sue based on your own failure(s). If that is the case, I would expect McDonald’s to countersue and hold these franchisees accountable for their actions and legal costs.

I said when the first lawsuit against McDs was announced that the new perspective will launch a flood of these.

And sure enough, here they come. Another lawsuit in the news today is against the real estate website, Redfin. Discrimination against “people of color” is alleged, of course, even though Redfin can’t possibly know the race of the home owner putting their house up for sale.

You see, if Systemic Racism is everywhere and all white people have benefited from White Privilege, then EVERY lawsuit alleging discrimination has merit by definition.

      A lawyer’s dream.

If you had any self-awareness, you would realize how much my statement agrees with your position about the consequences of a belief in systemic racism.

The only difference is you think EVERY lawsuit is justified based on systemic racism, no matter the facts. I still think actual facts matter.

But again, if you had any self-awareness . . .

And by the way, my son was a mix of heritage, including Nordic, English, Hispanic and Native American.

Was he a “person of color”? (You can see why I am skeptical of the term. I tend to look at people as individuals, not as skin color groups.)

Fragile white man, no one cares that you had a son with a hispanic woman. That doesn’t mean you’re not a vile racist, as your words on this forum have evidenced repeatedly. Your “I don’t see skin color” means you think there are no advantages or disadvantages granted by skin color, which is wrong. If it were just this you wouldn’t be racist, it’s the repeated vile things you’ve pushed on this board like believing black on black crime justifies black people being murdered by the police etc.

Quit pretending, we all know who you are. No one is buying your denials.
