People Moves: Guy Carpenter Names Wolfe Chief Commercial Officer, N. A.; Verisk Forms Claims Advisory Board; Chamberlain to Lead DUAL Specialty Healthcare

Guy Carpenter appointed Keith Wolfe to the newly created role of chief commercial officer, North America, effective immediately.

Wolfe joins Guy Carpenter after 27 years with Swiss Re and its predecessor companies, where he held several leadership positions, most recently serving as president, U.S. Property & Casualty.

Wolfe will report to John Trace, CEO of Guy Carpenter North America and help drive growth strategies across the region, in collaboration with the North America Segments and Centers of Excellence. He will lead a Client Executive Management team that drives strategic engagements with clients and prospects. He will also lead Guy Carpenter’s US facultative business.

Verisk Partners with Chief Claims Officers to Create Claims Advisory Board

Verisk has formed the Verisk Claims Advisory Board comprised of a group of former chief claims officers across the insurance industry. The board will advise Verisk’s Claims Solutions on its innovation roadmap to ensure the company is enriching the claims ecosystem by continuing to streamline client workflows, improve claims management and support superior customer experiences.

The Verisk Claims Advisory Board is comprised of the following experts:

  • Eric Brandt – Brandt has more than 30 years’ experience leading technology and operations across consumer, commercial, and group benefits lines of business. He has held C-suite roles at insurtechs, niche specialty casualty firms, and Fortune 100 companies. His current role is president, Second Horizon Solutions, LLC.
  • Darla Finchum – After spending her entire career in the property/casualty industry, Darla Finchum is currently working as an independent consultant and advisor to the industry focusing on insure-tech companies.
  • Grace Hanson – Hanson has deep experience in the C-suite with start-up insurers, insurtechs and legacy carriers spanning multiple commercial and personal product lines in the U.S., Bermuda, London and global markets. Hanson has held multiple senior claims executive roles where she embedded digital technology and transformed claims operations leveraging data and analytics including, Hippo Analytics’ first chief claims officer.
  • Ken Rosen – Rosen is the president & founder of Rosen Consulting Solutions, LLC, an organization focused on the P/C insurance vertical. Previously, Rosen served as the chief claims officer of USAA as well as the EVP and chief claims officer of the Allstate Corporation.
  • Mike Sieger – Sieger brings extensive experience and leadership in the automotive insurance industry from over three decades with Progressive Insurance. He retired from Progressive in January 2022, where he served as its claims president since 2015.

DUAL N.A. Names Chamberlain EVP, Head of Specialty Healthcare

DUAL North America said it hired Dwain Chamberlain as executive vice president and head of specialty healthcare while concurrently announcing the launch of the Specialty Healthcare program.

Chamberlain will report to Chief Casualty Officer Connie Germano. He is responsible for leading the strategic direction and growth of the Specialty Healthcare program.

Chamberlain joins DUAL from Hallmark Financial Services where he most recently served as senior vice president. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the professional liability market.
