Slice Labs Inc., the New York-based insurtech that operates an on-demand insurance platform, has expanded into seven additional states and the District of Columbia with its contractors general liability insurance product for small businesses.
Coverage purchased on Slice’s platform is provided through a partnership with Philadelphia Insurance (PHLY).
The product is now offered in 47 states – all but Kentucky, Louisiana and New York, said Slice, noting that more than 60 class codes are now available to agents.
“Partnering with PHLY, whose AM Best A++ rating is the pinnacle of financial strength and stability, reinforces our commitment to offering the highest quality coverage to our customers,” commented Tim Attia, co-founder and CEO of Slice, in a statement.
Slice said it provides flexible payment options, such as monthly installments, which helps address the diverse financial needs of small businesses.

In November 2023, Slice and PHLY expanded their contractors ceneral liability offering to 39 states.
Founded in 2015, Slice distributes insurers’ and reinsurers’ on-demand products through the largest distribution platforms.
