John William Tesseyman III had his case heard before a judge only. The judge threw the case out
for lack of evidence and exonerated Mr. Tesseyman on July 29, 2005. For further verification contact Judge Julie Kurcorek or Steve Orr of Austin, Mr. Tesseyman’s attorney.
Mr. Tesseyman did commit suicide, but it was not over this case, on October 9, 2006.
I knew John. He always treated me decent and fair. Glad to see he was exonerated for this. He may not have ended his life over this, but it certainly didn’t help. Cant help but think that he’d just made enemies over his lifetime and he was attacked by the corruption that is rampant in Tyler Tx.
RIP John. You were always a good guy to me. You deserved better.
