Dallas-based commercial insurance firm, McQueary Henry Bowles Troy L.L.P. (MHBT), announced the appointment of Jesse (Jay) Beck as vice president of the employee benefits group.
“Jay Beck brings 15 years of industry experience to the company, and he will further enhance our strong employee benefits practice,” said Bill Henry, chairman and CEO of MHBT. “We welcome Jay to our team and know our clients will enjoy working with him as well.”
Prior to joining MHBT, Beck worked with Canada Life Assurance Company beginning in 1994, and helped to establish Canada Life’s office in Dallas, facilitating its growth to account for nearly 20 percent of the firm’s nationwide revenues. While with Canada Life, Beck was responsible for writing medium and large accounts. Beck is also particularly experienced with partially self-funded groups and ancillary products.
He earned his bachelor of science degree from Southern Methodist University in 1989.
MHBT is based in Dallas and also has an office in Fort Worth, Texas. MHBT and its precursors have offered global insurance, bonds and financial services since 1926. The firm offers commercial risk management and insurance services, employee benefits and financial services, construction bond services, property and casualty insurance, personal insurance and surety and specialized services.
