Higginbotham & Associates announced it has added Account Executive Cynthia Brown to its Austin, Texas, office to provide commercial clients with employee benefit plan brokerage and account support.
Brown, who is maintaining her Waco, Texas, residence of 19 years, serves as Higginbotham’s local employee benefits representation, giving Central Texas employer groups access to the Fort Worth-based agency’s health insurance carriers and administrative service solutions.
Higginbotham enhanced its Central Texas presence in 2004 when it opened its Austin office under the leadership of Managing Directors Matt Burns and Greg Meserole. Today the office — comprised of five brokers and 12 marketing and service professionals — provides personal and commercial property and casualty coverage and risk management.
With the addition of Brown, its clients also have a local resource for Higginbotham’s comprehensive employee benefits services, including online enrollment, consolidated billing, Section 125 Plan administration, employee communications support and call center outsourcing.
Brown began her employee benefits career at Insurors of Texas, where she was employed for 14 years. She was most recently a principal at Fidelity Benefits & Insurance Services
