XL Insurance, the global insurance operations of XL Capital Ltd., announced the opening of a new regional office in Houston. The new office will focus on providing XL Insurance clients, particularly marine and offshore energy businesses in the region, with local underwriting expertise and claims services.
Regional Marine Manager Diana Gladwell will direct the Houston office’s activities. Gladwell has nearly 25 years of dedicated marine insurance experience.
XL Insurance has offices throughout the U.S. including Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Hartford, New York, Charlotte, and Exton, Pa. XL Insurance’s Marine & Offshore Energy unit provides cargo, primary marine liabilities, excess marine liabilities, offshore energy, bluewater hull and brownwater hull insurance.
