The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas will hold its third annual Small Agency Conference in Waco on Sept. 23 and 24 at the Waco Convention Center and the association expects continuing growth in attendance at the event.
Designed to meet the needs of smaller Texas agencies, the conference is expected to draw more than 400 principals, key personnel and leading industry vendors. Last year the conference drew some 375 industry professionals. This conference is specifically targeted at agents who write primarily small accounts.
To date more than 50 exhibitors including companies looking for new appointments and MGAs who want to work with smaller agencies have registered for the combined trade show, sales and technical sessions.
Frank Swingle, incoming IIAT president, said the conference has become “a vital gathering for many of IIAT’s smaller agencies.”
Sponsors for this year’s conference include: The Republic Group, Travelers, Service Lloyds Insurance Co., Texas Mutual Insurance Co., Specialty Insurance Managers and Insurors Indemnity.
Detailed information about sessions and online registration are available online at iiat.org.
