A Baker, La., insurance agent has been served with a cease and desist order, notice of license revocation and $1,500 fine notice for alleged misappropriation of premiums.
Patikii Je Gibbs (a.k.a. Patikii Gibbs Powell), 55, allegedly misappropriated $1,837 in insurance premiums. Her bond was applied to this amount, leaving $1,309 that she still owes the company.
Louisiana Department of Insurance records show that Gibbs held an Industrial Fire license from June 2008 through April 2009. She was also issued a Home Service license in June 2008 which was valid until the current action.
