Houston’s Dean & Draper Insurance Agency LP announced it has acquired Wilco Insurance Agency Inc. and Always Safe Insurance Agency Inc. as part of an ongoing growth strategy for the Texas-based insurance agency.
Both Wilco and Always Safe possess solid and successful commercial ventures, with more than 75 percent of Wilco’s business coming from trucking and shipping related accounts. Combined, Wilco and Always Safe bring more than $10 million in premiums to Dean & Draper.
Wilco, originally established in 1986, now operates as Dean & Draper Insurance Agency LP.
Always Safe, which formed in 1988 as Mustang Insurance Agency and incorporated as Always Safe in 2003, merged into Alpha Omega Insurance Group LP, a Dean & Draper company.
