Texas Legal, the statewide nonprofit legal insurance plan founded by the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Legislature, announced it is now a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT).
Legal insurance covers legal expenses much like health insurance covers medical expenses. A low monthly premium provides Texas Legal members access to a network of attorneys throughout the state, with no further costs (subject to plan limitations).
Texas Legal has over 500 qualified attorneys providing members with legal services such as estate planning, adoptions, divorce, foreclosure, identity theft, traffic tickets, bankruptcy and more. Both civil and criminal law services are available.
Texas Legal membership is available to large and small companies as a group benefit, at no cost to the employer. The employee pays a small monthly amount; family members are also covered.
