The Texas-based agency partnership Combined Agents of America LLC (CAA) announced that it produced $96.3 million in total property and casualty revenue in 2015, compared to the $92.2 million in total revenue produced in 2014.
The insurance agency aggregator grew its commercial lines revenue some 7 percent in 2015. CAA, which currently has 53 agency members, continued its growth trend by earning more than $66.8 million in revenue from commercial lines insurance in 2015, compared to some $62.7 million its members earned in 2014. The majority of the growth stems from new business, CAA said.
The group said it wrote more than $763 million in property and casualty premiums in 2015.
CAA’s annual premium numbers include crop insurance premiums, as agriculture business continues to play an important role in the book of business of its Kansas members. In 2015, our members wrote some $25 million in crop insurance premiums, compared to $22.7 million in crop insurance premiums it wrote in 2014. However, the CAA revenue reported above excludes members’ crop insurance.
In addition to Texas, CAA has agency members in Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska.
