The Texas Association of Health Underwriters has been recognized with the Blue Ribbon of Excellence Award from the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Texas was recognized for this award as part of NAHU’s Chapter Certification Program, which is an ongoing program that recognizes excelling chapters throughout the calendar year.
In the group’s announcement, State President Joe Phifer stated: “Over the past year our fifteen chapters representing more than 1700 members provided hundreds of hours of Continuing Education, gave thousands of dollars to local charities through fund raising efforts, and brought exposure to the Valley through the founding of our newest chapter, South Texas AHU. These projects and efforts among others have set a standard of excellence in the health insurance industry that we are proud to represent.”
The National Association of Health Underwriters represents 100,000 professional health insurance agents and brokers who provide insurance for millions of Americans.
