Louisiana-based private, nonprofit, mutual workers’ compensation insurance company, LWCC, has welcomed Thomas K. “Tommy” Huval as the newest member to its board of directors.
Gov. John Bel Edwards appointed Huval to serve as a representative of agents licensed to sell workers’ compensation insurance in Louisiana with executive-level experience.
Huval has been regional president of the retail division at Brown & Brown Inc. since September 2015 and serves as its senior vice president. He is president and CEO of Brown & Brown of Louisiana LLC (formerly Huval Insurance Agency Inc.) based in Lafayette, La.
LWCC, headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is the largest workers’ compensation insurance provider in the state.
