Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Kristi Koncaba, president and chief operating officer at Texan Bank, to the board of directors for workers’ compensation insurer, Texas Mutual Insurance Co.
Koncaba has 15 years of experience in commercial banking, including co-founding both Family Bancorp, Inc. and Friendswood Capital Corp., the bank holding company for Texan Bank, where she serves as executive vice president, chief operating officer and secretary.
In addition, John Swanson, president and chief executive officer of Utica Resource Ventures LLC, has been reappointed to another term on the Texas Mutual board. Swanson was first appointed to the board in May 2012 by former Gov. Rick Perry.
