Socius Insurance Services Inc., a management liability and property/casualty insurance wholesaler, has opened a branch in Dallas — its first in Texas.
Assistant Vice President of Property and Casualty Chris Barnes will oversee the Dallas office. With more than 17 years of experience, Barnes focuses in marketing of property/casualty insurance products with an emphasis on delivering high level service through relationship building, communication, review of risks and follow through. Property/casualty specialties include Property, Inland Marine, Oil and Gas, Contractors and Professional Lines.
Associate Broker Erin Tallant has been hired to work alongside Barnes in Dallas. Tallant has more than 12 years of comprehensive leadership and business experience in the military and commercial industry. She is a strategic thinker who brings a foundation of experience, knowledge and understanding of how strong leadership and teamwork plays in bottom line business results.
Socius is based in San Francisco and has regional offices in Los Angeles; Elgin, Ill.; Birmingham, Ala.; Dallas; and Tampa and Miami, Fla. Founded in 1997, the company currently has approximately 50 employees, and is privately held.
