Deridder, La.–based workers’ compensation insurer, AMERISAFE Inc., has elected Sean Traynor to its board of directors, effective March 1.
Traynor is a general partner in the Healthcare Group of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, which he joined in 1999. Traynor previously served as a member of the AMERISAFE board from 2001 until June 2013.
AMERISAFEis a specialty provider of workers’ compensation insurance focused on small to mid-sized employers engaged in hazardous industries, principally construction, trucking, logging and lumber, manufacturing, and agriculture. The company actively markets workers’ compensation insurance in 27 states.
