Dallas-based Swingle Collins & Associates has named Collin Brence as the agency’s newest shareholder.
Brence is the youngest individual to earn the shareholder title in the agency’s 39 years. He joined Swingle Collins as a commercial producer in 2015 after graduating from Baylor University, where he was a starting linebacker on the Bears’ football team.
As a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), Brence enjoys working with his clients in areas of risk transfer and claims management to help reduce insurance premiums. He and his team have developed an expertise in the technology, staffing, manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, and construction markets.

Collin is highly involved in the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD), for which he serves on the Insurance Employment Services Board. He also serves as co-chair of the annual Jim Millerman Insurance Convention, formally known as “All-Industry Day.”
