The Young Agents Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) named Burns & Wilcox/Morehead
City as Broker of the Year and St. Paul Travelers as Company of the Year.
IIANC says the Broker and Company of the Year awards are presented to the broker and company that have demonstrated support for association activities and commitment to the independent agency system.
The award was presented to Burns & Wilcox/Morehead City and St. Paul Travelers during IIANC’s Annual Young Agent’s Conference, June 13-15, 2004, Wrightsville Beach, N.C.
Brokers and companies were judged on market availability, competitiveness in pricing, underwriting personnel, product delivery, claim settlement, marketing, product development, accounting contracts, agency contracts and overall agency/company relations.
