The Professional Insurance Agents of Georgia are collecting donations for victims of Hurricane Katrina, which will be donated to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
According to Jerry W. Duke, executive vice president, a collective presentation of funds raised before Sept. 14 will be presented to the organizations on that date. Additional funds raised after Sept. 14 will be distributed during a second collection presentation the following week.
Duke said anyone wanting to donate to PIA of Georgia’s efforts should make checks payable to either the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army and send them to: PIA of Georgia, 3805 Crestwood Parkway, Suite 140, Duluth, GA 30096
