Phil Zelman, vice president and co-owner of NCF Insurance Associates in Coral Gables, was awarded the Professional Insurance Agents of Florida’s “Leadership Award” at the PIA of Florida board of directors meeting in Key West, Fla.
PIA’s Leadership Award recognizes one of its committee chairs for his or her contributions to the insurance community in Florida and the nation. Zelman, as the chair of PIA’s budget committee, was recognized for his work in furthering the successes of PIA with strong financial oversight, enabling PIA to increase its programs, enhance its benefits to members, standardize the dues structure, and increase its presence in the insurance community. He has been a board member of PIA of Florida for three years.
“Zelman’s conscientious financial oversight, along with his organizational skills, have continued PIA’s success,” Mark O’Connell, PIA CEO said in presenting the award. We thank him and congratulate him in his latest honor.”
