Legislation issues affecting insurance agents will be discussed by guest speaker Rep. Dennis A. Ross, D-Lakeland, and other industry leaders during the Annual Legislative “Fly-In” being held March 29 to 30 by the Florida Association of Insurance Agent’s in Tallahassee.
FAIA plans a briefing about various insurance issues March 29 at 3 p.m. Joel Blackwell will follow with a presentation on grassroots lobbying and later FAIA will host a pig roast for FAIA members and invited guests with transportation provided.
March 30 will begin with a morning wrap-up discussing the issues after which members will meet with their legislators and discuss important insurance topics.
